The Story of a Suicide: Part One

"The Story of a Suicide" by Ian Parker is an article that goes into great details about the incident involving the suicide of Tyler Clementi and how his roommate, Dharun Ravi, may have been part of the reason for his death. Parker talks about Ravi in more of a negative light to set the stage for the rest of the article.

This article was interesting and hard to stop reading. It blew my mind how, almost two-faced Dharun Ravi was. He would make fun of Tyler so much and then after everything happened, he sent Tyler text messages talking about how it was a all a huge misunderstanding. Personally, I think that Ravi deserves some sort of legal punishment for his actions regarding the invasion of privacy and bias intimidation, but I have a feeling that Tyler was suicidal before college and what Ravi did kind of pushed him over the edge.
