"Her Point Is, The Art of Summarizing" is an article about summarizing. The main argument is the distinction between completely repeating the views of the author or going off from what the author says to express your own views. When a summary is straight from the article, it shows that the writer lacked confidence and his views get put aside. On the other hand if you use your own views it doesn't really summarize the authors article which was the main purpose of summarizing. A good mix is perfect for writing a summary, you have to take other's view while not ignoring your own views.
As funny as it is, summarizing an article about properly summarizing, it really helped me see the right way to summarize, which I never really have thought about before.
