This article talks about a very well constructed summary. A summary can make or break an entire article. So writers need to be very careful when creating their first couple sentences as a summary. When making a summary, you are not supposed to shy away from the author's original meaning. You're supposed to create your own interpretation yet also uphold what the author had in mind from the beginning. I agree that this is also very important. Sometimes I don't want to read an entire article. So I'll read summaries on the article instead. I expect the summaries to be very thorough and yet capture the main essence of the main article.
